The financial reporting error resulted in months of erroneous overpayments, forcing ADC to go back to the drawing board. \u201cWe went back to look at other cloud solutions again,\u201d he recalled. After multiple transitions and finally to Denticon, ADC found the right fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is how I check the quality of our work to see what standard of care was delivered and whether there\u2019s room for improvement,\u201d he explained. \u201cI do the same exercise with the hygiene team and the front desk team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that even during COVID, when offices closed temporarily, ADC retained its entire staff. \u201cWe stick by our team members. Even when COVID hit and we had to close all of our offices, we didn\u2019t let go of anyone. We paid everyone the entire time we were closed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Denticon also resolved longstanding security and reliability issues from server-based systems. Dr. Rama had previously experienced a devastating power surge at his first office that wiped out every computer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the time, he was paying for a backup service. When he contacted the provider, he learned his data had not been backed up for thirty days. The loss forced him to write off an entire month of receivables\u2014well into six figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later, one of ADC\u2019s largest offices experienced a break-in. Although most data had already been moved to the cloud, an old server remained on-site. Information was stolen from the server and destroyed computers, but the impact was minimal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cImagine if this had happened six years ago,\u201d said Dr. Rama. \u201cWe would have lost everything. But because there was no client data on those servers, we were back up and running with no disruption to our practice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All patient data is currently securely stored in Denticon\u2019s cloud, eliminating the risks of hardware failure, theft, or missed backups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEverything is standardized to a much higher level than other cloud companies,\u201d said Dr. Rama. \u201cFrom insurance verifications, accounts receivable, billing to EOB entries, we could not do it without Denticon. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s another cloud technology that can do all of this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
