NEWPORT BEACH, CA \u2013 August 25<\/span><\/b>, 2022 \u2013 <\/span><\/b>Planet DDS<\/span><\/a>, the leading provider of cloud-based dental software, today announced Mike Huffaker has been appointed to Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Huffaker\u2019s appointment follows multiple Planet DDS acquisitions and a recent funding <\/span>announcement.<\/span><\/a> In his new position, Huffaker will continue to lead the Planet DDS sales team as the business pursues rapid growth to solve rising challenges within the dental market.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>great resignation<\/span><\/a> and critical <\/span>staffing shortages<\/span><\/a> in the dental industry have highlighted the need for additional patient communication support, operational efficiencies, and cost containment. In fact, the ADA says staffing shortages are contributing to an <\/span>11% reduction<\/span><\/a> in practice capacity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
